V. Research

V-2.* Outdoor research activities conducted in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements. Examples include tyles of reserach, development, testing, and evaluation activities conducted outdoors where no new ground disturbance occurs and no sensitive resources (e.g., threatened or endangered species, archaeological sites, Tribal resources, wetlands, and waterbodies) are present, such as radar testing, radio noise measurements, and public safety communications research.
