(g) Regulations implementing procedures to: 1. Promote adoption and enforcement of State laws and regulations pertaining to CMV safety that are compatible with the FMCSRs; 2. Provide guidelines for a continuous regulatory review of State laws and regulations; and 3. Establish deadlines for States to achieve compatibility with appropriate parts of the FMCSRs with respect to interstate commerce.
