B-2.6. Categorical Exclusions for Regulatory Actions. This category includes the list of CATEXs for FAA actions involving compliance with, or exemptions to, regulatory programs or requirements. The responsible FAA official must also review Paragraph B-1, Extraordinary Circumstances, before finalizing a decision to categorically exclude a proposed action.

(b) Authorizations and waivers for infrequent or one-time actions, such as an air show or aviation-related exposition (to include an aerobatic practice area containing one aerobatic practice box or aerobatic contest box) or parachuting or skydiving events, that may result in some temporary impacts that revert back to original conditions upon action completion. (ATO, AVS)
